Short how-to guides for getting set up and getting the most out of Nick.

Talking to Nick

Chat with Nick in your portal

Open Chat with Nick in your portal’s sidebar. Ask him anything about your ads, tell him who booked or bought, or approve what he’s waiting on with the buttons under his message.

It’s the same conversation as your Slack channel, so your team sees it too.

Choose where Nick reaches each person
  1. In your portal, open Where Nick reaches you.
  2. Under Add someone, enter their name and pick the app: Email, Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp or Telegram.
  3. Tick Can approve if they should be able to say yes to Nick’s changes.
  4. Pick what they get: Everything Nick posts, or Only what needs a decision.

Email works right away. For the other apps you get a 6-character code they send to Nick to connect.

Approve by email

When Nick needs an OK, you get an email titled “Approval needed” with Approve and Reject buttons. Tap one, check the short page that opens, and confirm. Nothing changes until you do.

Each button works once and expires after 7 days. If a link has expired, open Approvals in your portal.

Connect WhatsApp
  1. Ask whoever manages your portal to add you on Where Nick reaches you with WhatsApp and your mobile number.
  2. Tap Open WhatsApp next to your name (or message Nick’s number) and send the 6-character code.
  3. Nick replies to confirm you’re connected.

Approvals come with a one-tap link. Reply STOP to pause messages, START to turn them back on.

Connect Telegram
  1. Get added on Where Nick reaches you with Telegram.
  2. Tap Open Telegram next to your name. It opens a chat with Nick with your code filled in. Tap Start.
  3. Nick confirms you’re connected. Approve and Reject buttons appear under every ask.
Connect Microsoft Teams
  1. Your Teams admin adds the Nick by AdSnipe app for your organization (we send them the app file).
  2. Get added on Where Nick reaches you with Microsoft Teams.
  3. Open Nick in Teams and send him your 6-character code.

Approvals show up as a card with Approve and Reject buttons.

Getting set up

Connect your Meta ad account
  1. Sign in to your AdSnipe portal and open Integrations.
  2. Click Connect next to Meta.
  3. Sign in with the Facebook account that has access to your ad account, and pick the ad account (and the Pages and lead forms) you want Nick to use.
  4. You’re done. Nick confirms in your Slack channel once he can see the account.

You need admin or advertiser access to the ad account. If you don’t see it in the list, ask whoever owns your Business Manager to give you access first.

Connect Google Ads (and YouTube ads)
  1. In your portal, open Integrations and click Connect next to Google Ads.
  2. Sign in with the Google account that can open your Google Ads account.
  3. Pick the Google Ads account Nick should work on.

YouTube video ads run through Google Ads, so connecting Google Ads covers them too.

Join your Slack channel

We create a private Slack channel for your business and send you an invite by email. Slack is free; you join as a guest, so there’s nothing to buy.

  1. Open the invite email and click Join.
  2. Download the Slack app on your phone so you see Nick’s alerts right away.
  3. Tell us who else should be in the channel and approve changes.
Fill in your intake form

Your intake form tells Nick about your business: what you sell, your prices, your service area, your offers and your goals. The more he knows, the better your launch plan.

You can click Save and finish later anytime. Your answers are kept and you can pick up where you left off from the same link.

Using Nick

Approve or reject a change

When Nick wants to change something, he messages your Slack channel with what he saw and what he wants to do.

  • Tap Approve and he makes the change.
  • Tap Reject and nothing happens. You can tell him why, and he learns from it.

You can also approve from the Approvals page in your portal.

Turn on Autopilot
  1. In your portal, open Autopilot.
  2. For each kind of change, choose Ask me first, Do it, tell me after, or Never.

Start with “Ask me first” for everything, then switch the changes you trust once you’ve seen how Nick works.

Set daily spend limits

On the Autopilot page, set a daily limit for each channel. Together they’re the most you spend in a day. Nick won’t recommend or make a change that goes over them, and raises only run on their own after you set a limit.

Tell Nick which leads became customers

This is how Nick learns which ads bring real customers, not just cheap leads. Either:

  • Reply to Nick in Slack in plain words, like “Closed John for $8,500” or “Sarah’s booked Monday at 3”, or
  • Open Leads in your portal and mark each one booked, won or lost.

Billing

Buy credits and set up top-ups
  1. In your portal, open Billing.
  2. Buy a credit pack, or turn on automatic top-ups: choose the amount, when to top up, and a monthly limit.

Your plan’s included credits reset each month. Bonus credits: 5% extra from $250 and 10% extra from $500. We email a receipt for every charge.

Add or remove people

Admins can invite people from People in the portal and choose which workspaces they can open and what they can do. Each new person gets an email with a link to create their login.

Cancel your plan

Cancel anytime from Billing in your portal, or tell us in Slack. Your plan stays active until the end of the month you paid for and then stops. See our refund and cancellation policy.

Privacy & site data

The example workspaces, advertising metrics and agent actions on this website use sample data and do not connect to any advertising account.

Forms you send us

When you send a contact, demo, webinar, partner or calculator form, we receive what you entered so we can reply. If you tick a text message box, we also keep a record of that consent (the wording, the time and your IP address), as carriers require. Text messages are optional and never a condition of buying.

Booking a demo

Our booking calendar is provided by our scheduling provider (LeadConnector). It loads only when you open it, and the details you enter there go to AdSnipe to set up your call.

Your launch brief

The launch planner saves its draft in this browser’s local storage only. It does not send your plan to AdSnipe. You can download your brief, copy it, or reset the planner to clear its saved draft.

Website services

The website does not add advertising pixels or analytics scripts. Its hosting service may process information needed to deliver the site and manage access. Browser and hosting privacy controls apply separately.

Our policies

How AdSnipe handles data for clients is in our Privacy Policy, and the agreement for using AdSnipe is in our Terms of Service. Questions: support@adsnipe.ai.
